The Romanian Society of Bone Marrow Transplant, an independent organization established at the end of 2016, focuses on activities aimed at developing the bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy sector in both hematologic and non-hematologic diseases, as well as promoting scientific research in these fields.
Through organized scientific events, we aim to educate and continuously enhance the scientific level of our members, as well as establish strong scientific and professional connections with international partners who share similar goals.
What to expect
Participants
The audience will consist mostly of Medical Residents in Hematology or Oncology, Primary Hematologists and Oncologists as well as a variety of research staff and scientists.

The 8th edition of the Romanian Stem Cell Transplantation Society Congress
We invite you to the 8th Congress of the Romanian Society of Bone Marrow Transplant, which will take place between May 11-12, 2024, in Cluj Napoca. It is no coincidence that we chose Cluj Napoca for this year’s Congress, as the reason is highly anticipated: the opening of a new bone marrow transplant center in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca, a center that was missing on the bone marrow transplant map in Romania.
As every year, our society aims, within the framework of the annual Congress, to disseminate progress in the field of bone marrow transplantation, continue exchanges of experience with international partners, and gain international recognition for Romanian experience in bone marrow transplantation.
